KS16S Bruits et craquements à vitesse élevée . Help!

Bonjour a tous ,

Je commence un nouveau fils car il semble que je soit le seul a avoir ce probleme.

J'habite en Guyane Francaise , le recours au SAV ne peut être qu'en dernier recours, du coup je voulais savoir si quelqu'un avait eu le même probleme que moi .

KS16S neuve , juste déballée et debridée , player mode , Olli speed 35Kh , alarmes 2 et 3 a 33 et 34Kmh.

A partir de 25 Kmh a l'odometre le phenomene semble aleatoire , peut etre lie a des accelerations. A 30Km il est systematique.

Il ne s'agit pas que de bruits, le moteur semble hesiter entre ralentir et accelerer , ca secoue serieusement quand on est dessus.

Ce vous dit quelque chose ? Des suggestions ? Ou du déja vu ?

En effet, pas bon du tout, ça ne m'est jamais arrivé ni à 30 ni à 35km/h...ta roue est bonne pour le SAV...

Merci pour vos retours, oui visiblement je suis l'un des seuls a avoir ce probleme. Je crois que je vais devoir encore rouler quelques temps avec ma 16B du coup.

Si j'ai du nouveau de la part de Kingsong je vous tiens au courant a toutes fins utiles. Pour l'instant pas de nouvelles.

You have the wrong firmware installed! KingSong done a mistake on the production line....have seen that on another wheel...violently shaking over 30kmh!

Needs installment of correct firmware...

Yes, precious information, but what is the right version? Is this v1.02? Is it necessary to access the motherboard, or simply use the bluetooth link?

Well, i don't know right now. In fact kingsong ask to change for a new motor . So I will try this first . 

I don't thing the problem is the 1.02 standard firmware, because the problem should be more frequent. ... or maybe be i am a beta tester as theses wheels were received in Jully .

If KS69 is right i think more that they have flashed accidentally a beta firmware instead of the stable one ... something like that.

Any way good question , ks69 , do you have more info on the firmware that could have  caused that?

From what i know:

Ks16s only has version 1.00 or 1.01(never got an update...is still on first firmware)

Version 1.02 shows to accidentally installed Ks14d firmware!

Wrong firmware also happend to Phillipe Chiu on his 18S!

he also (at first) had wrong firmware installed and experieenced heavy shaking at 30kmh!

 

this can be corrected by android "special" Ks app...where you can install/overwrite correct firmware!

Il y a peut-être moyen de forcer l'installation du bon firmware (en faisant croire à ta KS16S que c'est une version plus récente que tu lui mets à disposition) en utilisant la technique de @Jimi00 :

Le problème, c'est qu'il faut que quelqu'un récupère et mette à disposition le fichier .BIN du firmware v1.01 de la KS16s !

The file http:// http://apkdomain.duapp.com/kingsong/16s.bin is unchanged since 7 weeks, i dont know which version it is.

But, @KS69 , there is a problem : our excellent supplier @Gyroroue-shop in Paris said the last delivery of ks16s matte black are now in v1.02 version.

This firmware has been tested quickly (only 63 km) and it seems to be absolutely right, just a curious thing : the voice message " Hello KingSong " has disappeared.

@KS69 , are you sure the v1.02 does not  exist for the ks16s, do you know where is the mistake?

Thank you for this information. It is normal for suppliers to configure the EUC and a special app is a good solution.

When I received my KS16S, I had a dirty noise when I was decelerating. The firmware was showing 1.02 but after a firmware reflash, the problem disappeared and the firmware version was still showing 1.02... weird...

So either there are several versions of "1.02" firmware (buggy and stable) in the field, or KS has a serious problem with their factory flashing process...

Ok pardon me than....

I am not sure about the actual Firmware Version of KS16S. Sorry!

 

It is just that i see a nearly exact behaviour like this before, on a KS18S...when going over 30kmh...it gets really hard shaking and wobbling.

And there the fault was exactly that they installed a wrong Firmware on the board( made a mistake on production line), and this leads to this behaviour!

After de-installing the wrong Firmware and installing the correct Firmware 1.01 for 18S the fault was completly away.

(18S which btw also has NO "hello Kingsong" anymore :-) )

 

So i suspect this fault here also.....but i can be completly wrong :-)

 

The "Special" app is a chinese app for the Kingsong "engineers" which enables to set serialnumbers, install firmware and other things etc etc....

Kingsong has even given this app to some oversee customers with Problems like that. You also got a english description then for your Special Problem, becasuse as this app is in chinese skripting it is without using description useless for europeans :-)

Hi me again, effectivelly as i am far they send me the app , and i reflashed the firmware 1.02 (the same). The firmware change log show only 1.0 for previous version,  1.02 beeing the actual . There is no 1.01 curriously .

Changelog :

V1.00 : new version

V1.02 Repair the gyro calibrating data, with the lock unicycle function, With the password connecting the unicycle function , calibrate the speed of unicycle

Well not very clear in fact.

As a result nothing changed , so as i suppose all new firmware are 1.02 (i have de black KS16s) and it seems i am alone with this problem, the firmware is not the problem ...(except if it is a bad 1.02 but the app took it again from the net.).

KingSong is sending me a new motor now. .... let see if the problem go away.

... well answer in one month more or less .... French guyana is far from Paris .

@TofGuyane , j'ai une question hors sujet à te poser, je ne passe pas par MP car cela intéresse (?) tout le monde.
Cela concerne les changements de capacité des batteries.
Comme tu le sais (peut-être), notre importateur KS refuse d'augmenter ou d'ajouter un pack de batterie, son argumentation (plutôt oiseuse) consiste à dire que c'est cher et qu'il vaut mieux acheter une nouvelle roue. Ce n'est pas un problème technique car il a toute compétence pour le faire. Il reste :
-- la mauvaise volonté commerciale. no comment.
-- des difficultés administratives liées au suivi de configuration et au dossier client, il est possible que cette capacité soit directement encodée dans le part number de la roue.
-- des difficultés logicielles pour configurer la roue afin de changer le calcul d'évaluation d'autonomie.

C'est ce troisième point qui m'intéresse. La question est simple, la réponse quasi binaire :
>> Toi qui a utilisé l'application des distributeurs, est-ce avec elle que l'on définit la taille de la batterie ? ? ?

( il est possible qu'il existe plusieurs applications afin de n'accéder qu'à certaines fonctions. Par ailleurs, la mémoire du µcontrôleur doit être partitionnée, le loader bluetooth est probablement flashé à l'aide d'une sonde -- jtag ou autre -- à moins qu'il ne soit immédiatement opérationnel ... )

Bien sûr, ce n'est pas très important d'avoir des prévisions d'autonomie fausses, mais si c'est juste un paramètre à changer, c'est dommage de s'en priver.

I can give a Little hint on that question:

The Batterie size is "hiden" in the Serial number ...as an example For 14D/S:  

SN ..14D1...340wh

SN.. 14D2..420wh

SN..14D3...680wh

SN..14D4..840wh

 

In the "Special app" -as far as i know- you CAN set/initiate a serialnumber...but i dont know if you just can Change parts of the SN.

 

Whatever: These arguments by KS France? Pffffhh :-)

Merci @KS69 , je pense que cette information n'a jamais été diffusée en France.

Par exemple, ma roue 16D4W0160xxxxx est effectivement une ks16-840Wh.

Pour terminer ce hors sujet, quel est le serialnumber d'une ks18.-1360Wh et d'une ks18.-1680Wh ?
